The Las Vegas Aces advanced to the WNBA playoff semifinals on Tuesday night after defeating the Seattle Storm in the first round.

WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson made a lot of noise with her gold Nike LeBron 21 PE, but it was the team’s star player and prankster Sydney Colson who caused even more stir with what she wore.

When Colson appeared in the game, she was wearing brand new sneakers.

Later, it was reported on social media that Colson was wearing her new signature sneakers after becoming an official brand partner of Creative Control.

As part of the agreement, she became the first athlete in history to wear shoes bearing the brand.

Colson is now one of three WNBA players to have her own signature sneaker.

With players like three-time MVP A’ja Wilson set to debut their signature sneakers in 2025, as well as debuting superstars Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, the list of athletes wearing signature shoes is growing, but for now, Colson is one of three in that exclusive club.

Being one of the funniest personalities at W, she fully deserves it.

After their victory over Seattle, the Aces now turn their attention to the New York Liberty in a rematch of last year’s WNBA Finals.
