Mr Lincoln qualifies for Jericho Cup despite defeat in Mount Gambier | The Standard

Punters were surprised when the Warrnambool-trained Unamerican claimed a shock victory in the final race at Mount Gambier on Sunday. The Mark Greig-trained Unamerican, ridden by apprentice jockey Taylor Johnstone, came in with a well-timed run to win the limited race by two lengths. Unamerican, who was last in his previous start at Terang, paid $50 to win in the TAB. His victory added a lot of value to the quadrella. He paid $15,196 for one unit and left a jackpot of $6280.
